If you already have installed the Acrobat Reader your browser may open and display the PDF files via plug-in instead of downloading them. If you want to download the files use the "Save As" option of the context menu (Windows: click right, Mac: click and hold) to download and save the files to your local disk.
DOS programs are distributed as self-extracting archives. To extract the files, copy the executable to a temporary directory and execute the file. The archives contain README files with further installation instructions. Windows programs are distributed as executable installer files.
Some documents and software versions are only available to specific users after authentication. These versions are marked with "authentication required".
